Kathleen J. Martin
For the past five years, Ms. Martin has practiced plaintiff personal injury law with Francis M. Letro.
She has practiced at every level of the litigation process including trial and appellate practice with Mr. Letro.
Additionally, Ms. Martin has authored numerous trial and Appellate briefs and has successfully argued complex
liability and damages issues at the Appellate Division.
Born and raised in Buffalo, Ms. Martin graduated magna cum laude,
Phi Beta Kappa from the University at Buffalo in 1996 and graduated cum laude
from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 1999 where she was inducted into the Order
of Barristers, a prestigious legal society. While at the University at Buffalo Law School,
Ms. Martin was Treasurer of the Buffalo Moot Court Board and competed nationally in the National Moot Court Competition at Vanderbilt Law School.
An involved alumnus of U.B. Law School, Ms. Martin is a member of the U.B. Law Alumni
Gold Group Board of Directors where she currently serves as the Secretary of the Board, as well as previously serving
as the Chair of the U.B. Law School Recruitment Committee. Ms. Martin is currently a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association,
the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Erie County Bar Association, and has participated
as a panelist at continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the New York State Bar Association. |
